Im looking for people to participate in the project with different backgrounds (especially with one or more of those aspects intersex/trans/non-binary/people of old age and non-european roots) . Participators will be filmed and interviewed with questions about the topics of Oder, Power and **.
Because of the historical background and usage of the archive material for transitions I decided to lean on an visual adaptation from Plotinus (205) metaphor of falling from his Cosmogony.In this interview setting people are tied up nude on the sculpture in 1,5m hight above the ground with a green screen in the background for estimated 15 minutes in the first weeks of may.

Here a short description of the project for you to read if I caught your interest:
The purpose of this project is to educate about the history of the asterisk symbolism and to initiate a transformative reflection process with the intend to awake hope and desire to develop a holistic perspective on life and living or to enhance it further. The work is a critic on societal structure elements and dynamics portrayed through the lens of individual internalisation while also tracing back the lineage of the asterisk usage by portraying some of their users.

Recent archeological findings in the Blombos cave located in South Africa rewrite human history by unearthing the oldest known drawn abstract and depictive representations indicated to be produced by behavioural modern homo sapiens. They predate examples from Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia ruffly by 33.000 years and are estimated to be 73.000 years old. One of those found artifacts contains a pattern resembling later produced Asterisks found in European Ice age cave art which were later on at the dawn of civilisation already globally spread. Till today its used in every society in differing forms of stylisation, meaning and appllication. After the Nazi party took power they subordinated genealogical societies under the “Reichsstelle für Sippenforschung“ and combined their data with church and synagogue birth registers enabled them to determine the heritage of the populous and by that if individuals fit in their aryan race criteria or should be target of their fascist policy of ethnic cleansing. The “Herold“ society resides today on the site of the “Geheimes Staatsarchiv Preußischer Kulturbesitz“ and the Asterisk is now generally indicating dates of birth in german speaking countries.
