Dates in Brisbane

I’m lying in my little cat bed on the floor, feeling a bit cold.
I don’t know why, but my nose feels sore and I kind of want to cry.

I really wish I could be held right now.
Just quietly curled up in your arms,
with my nose resting near your neck.
I want my head to be gently patted,
my back softly stroked.

I would be a clean, quiet little cat.
You could let me lie beside your legs
while you go on doing your own things.
I wouldn’t disturb you at all.

I just want to be near you.
Even holding a small part of you would be enough for me.
I don’t need anything else…
I just want a hug. 🐾
