A bit of a tradition since 2016, watching the sun set on the longest day of the year with kinksters is a most pleasant way to enjoy a summer evening. Assuming the weather co-operates, of course. Non-consensual rain is always a danger...
This year it's the intention to enjoy the sunset from the grounds of Knaresborough Castle, where the views across the River Nidd out west are pretty special. Sunset is sue to be 21.42 so we'll assemble earlier in order to grab a portion of fish 'n' chips from Drakes Fisheries nearby. Bringing one's own beverages and grub is absolutely fine although public comsumption of alcohol should be avoided within the castle grounds.
It's a public place so best vanilla garb and softened voices should conversations turn kinky. If the weather turns nasty suddenly we can reconvene in the Crown pub. Access to the castle is free and parking is free after 18.00.
Unlike the usual Sensations events there is no dungeon to hand but we'll make up for that another time.
Public transport to and from Knaresborough is pretty good by bus or train (note there may be disruption on the Leeds-Harrogate line due to engineering work at weekends), and there's ample parking outside the castle. At least one car will be attending from Harrogate with space potentially available.
If there's sufficient interest then we may enjoy a stroll along Waterside earlier in the evening, down by the river.
As always, please DM the typhoon2 profile or post to the HarrogateRnB group and profile (on other sites) if you have any queries.
