Very pleasant St Valentine's Day yesterday, - lunch out with wife and a girlfriend, mooching around the shops (chain and carabiniers acquired!) and some delightful play. Shame that the classic St Valentine tradition of anonymous declarations of affection has been usurped by virtue-signalling Weiterlesen… spending though. Our plans would have been the same any weekend but we did see hearts and roses and over-priced chocolates everywhere. Have to snaffle up some of the latter if the prices drop - best cure for short-term sub drop!
